Robert Meader, son of Moses Meader (1752-p.1840) [0040] and Jane Otis (b.1759), was born at Barrington, NH April 8, 1778 and died November 13, 1814. He married Dorothy Harriman April 15, 1802, the marriage performed by Elder James Jackson in Eaton, NH. He served as a private in the First Regiment (Fisk's) of the New Hampshire Militia, Captain John March's Company of Volunteers. He was detached April 10 to October 31, 1814. Present at roll call that date, he died less than two weeks later.
